This policy explains what slctr.org stores in your browser, why, and how to control it. It supplements the privacy policy.
01Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to recognise your device on later visits. Local storage (localStorage) is a similar browser mechanism whose data is not automatically sent to the server with every request.
02What this website uses
We use strictly necessary storage only. The Website sets no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies and loads no social media pixels or visitor counters. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from third-party services.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
slctr-cookie-ok | localStorage | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice so it isn’t shown again | Until you clear your browser |
Strictly necessary storage does not require separate consent, because without it the Website cannot properly provide the functions you request.
03What our hosting sees
Every time you access the Website your browser sends the server standard technical information: IP address, browser type and the requested page. It is used to deliver pages and protect against attacks and is kept for no longer than 12 months. See the privacy policy for details.
04Managing storage
You can delete the Website’s data or block storage at any time in your browser settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”. If you block storage, the Website keeps working, but the cookie notice will appear on every visit.
05Changes
If we start using other cookies — for example, for analytics — we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
